Funding Requests

The Ohio University Residence Hall Association (RHA) offers financial support to Hall Councils and student organizations for programs that benefit on-campus residents. Eligible events include social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities. Funding requests can be up to $1,000 for Hall Councils and up to $500 for student organization co-sponsorships.
Steps to Request Funding
  1. Review Guidelines: Carefully read the RHA Funding Guidelines Packet to ensure your event meets the eligibility requirements.
  2. Complete the Request Form: Fill out the Funding Request Form with detailed information about your event. You must include an itemized budget in an Excel sheet and a flyer with the RHA logo clearly visible. Completed requests must be submitted at least 14 days before your event date to be eligible for funding consideration.
  3. Present at an RHA Meeting: If your request is approved to move forward, you will be invited to present at an RHA General Body meeting. Meetings are held on Mondays at 7:00 PM in add room numbers once finalized.​​
